Examining the Need to Expand Eligibility Under the Radiation Exposure Compensation Act

On June 27, 2018, a representative of the TBDC testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee about the need to amend the RECA in order to compensate the New Mexico Downwinders. In 2018, the Tularosa Basin Downwinders Consortium made a trip to Washington DC to testify to the Senate Judiciary Committee. While there, the Downwinders met with members of Congress to further educate and spread word of our cause.
